I digg stumble and crow on Twitter
Toiling for a score unguaranteed
Crunchy sweet nutritious and filling
Topped in salads, steamed or stir-frying
She diggs stumbles and chirps on Twitter
To swap with cheeps and friends indulging
Haiku

The Story
Olga the Travelling Bra, AiR and I were talking about Sugar Snap Peas yesterday on Twitter, which all started from Jenn’s post about a salad bar in la-la land. Besides being busy globe-trotting, Olga wants everybody to toss that bag of chips out the window (or six storeys down in my case) and start eating healthy.
One way to begin is to try a bag of Sugar Snap Peas. And because Olga wants you to atleast try some, I proposed that we do a meme. But what kind of meme ?
AiR suggested writing a short poem and I jumped on the idea.
So if you are seeking a healthier life and add your artistic creativity to that, then grab a bag of sugar snaps and try your hand in composing a sonnet or a quatrain or an ode or a ghazal or even a haiku describing your experiences.
Make it funny, romantic or hateful, we want to see them all !

I am going to pass this on to Renny B. Amundsen, whose blog I have just begun to read all because Olga is currently visiting him in Norway ! Renny blogs about Norway and its history and people and it is always refreshing to meet someone who is enthusiastic about promoting their culture albeit in a non-obtrusive way.
And it is equally hilarious to see a gentleman so excited about showing off a bra in public ! (Mind you I said a bra and not his bra)

OMG That’s too funny! Olga has me ADDICTED to these little gems now! I searched 5 grocery stores for them last week and no one had any! Finally, yesterday they restocked and I bought 3 bags! lol…YUM!

I love sugar snap peas. When I can get them, I take them to work as a snack every day. Sadly, they aren’t always available at the grocery store. I think everyone else is grabbing them before I get there

My husband bought snap peas just yesterday. It’s another misguided attempt at getting our 12 year old daughter to eat something other than empty calories. I love their crunchy, juicy, sweetness! Regan..she’d rather have gelato.
