There are still people out there learning COBOL??? LOL I know it’s still in use, but they should really leave that for us old-timers that need a little job security. :0) |

COBOL aside, the most outrageous book in that pack is the “Revolutionary QBASIC” ! The Dave Barry book is actually satire and really funny - but it too belongs in the Windows 95 world. |

Unbelievable. Talk about the digital stone age. And that’s just Dave Barry …BB |

If your library insists on keeping those books, then they ought to be moved to the history section. |

I can’t remember the last time a Qbasic book. A long time thought. Hows your upgrade of WP 2.5 going? |

Hey Curtis, thanks for dropping by. The QBasic book is the most outrageous of the bunch ! I’m liking the new WordPress 2.5 so far but it’s only been two days ! |

I know a lot of people find it funny that COBOL and Fortran even exist anymore, but I’d like to state that Fortran is probably one of the most robust and straight-forward programming languages there is. This might be a bit hard to believe but I use it everyday of my life (and my job depends on it!) Its so incredible that something that was so “revolutionary” a few years ago is just worth a laugh these days…talk about progress! Rahman’s last blog post..World Autism Day |
